FASD Ambassador Program

You are an ambassador. That's right, YOU! Whether you are a member of a social group, professional society, or even as an association staff member, each time you talk about these groups, you are acting as an ambassador.

When we hear the word "ambassador," we think about an accredited diplomat serving as an official representative to another country. But a second definition is a person who acts as a representative or promoter of an activity or organization.

At FASD, we have created an Ambassador Program with a group of people who will serve as part of our brand strategy which will help create awareness not only for our association, but also for the individual ambassador, and of this special district industry.

If you've attended any association events, you will know our amazing group of FASD Ambassadors, the true faces of this association. The mission of the FASD Ambassador Program is to serve as goodwill representatives of the association at a variety of functions. This energetic group helps maintain contact with other association members while promoting FASD and its purpose. Ambassadors attend association functions and serve as "meeters and greeters" at FASD events, such as Quarterly Meetings, Legislative Forum, and the Annual Conference.

Ambassadors are the first contact that new members have upon joining Florida Association of Special Districts. Please take a few moments to get to know this group and reach out and say hello! Feel free to give them a call or send an email.
