Call for Speakers
February 17th is the due date for speaking proposals for FASD’s Annual Conference scheduled for June 12 – 15, 2023, at the Rosen Plaza in Orlando. Executive Director David Ramba and his Super Assistant Rachel Kruse along with our Conference Planner CMC & Associates and FASD’s amazing Conference and Awards Committee have re-vamped the conference schedule from prior years.
The Conference and Awards Committee is seeking proposals from Speakers and Presentation Teams for education sessions and roundtable discussion groups.
The Districts in Paradise theme of the conference focuses on "Overcoming & Embracing Challenges in Paradise". We plan to include case studies of interesting/unique solutions implemented by organizations. In addition, priority consideration will be given to submissions that include a member and/or associate member covering a current, hot-topic or important issue for special purpose governments.
Optimally, presentation teams should consist of 2-3 professionals including at least one member and/or associate member.

- Cybersecurity Trends & Updates
- Environmental Impacts - Sea Level Rise, Water Quality / Availability
- New Payment Options
- Risk Management
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Resilience and Economic Sustainability
- UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Proficiencies for Special Districts
- New Roads for Communication and Outreach
