driving effective business and association development. I was born in Bath,
England and moved to the US over 14 years ago. I am a results driven
executive with 25 year's leadership experience. As a practiced professional,
I revitalize strategies and teams to meet a wide range of challenges. I use
strong relationship management talents to build revenue and organizational
strength. focus on building trust and respect.
I am accomplished in economic analysis and implementing strategies,
processes and technologies that effectively position organizations to
compete in their marketplaces. I am adept at working with multiple
communities, volunteers and boards to support organizational objectives. I
have a strong background in account management, sales, marketing, budgeting
and management, project management, human resources development, and public
speaking.
I created my own business development consultancy company, Event Pro-SSSS in
1998 to enable me to use my business knowledge and experience to deliver
high value services to corporations and associations. I provide support and
direction for organizations looking to build profit through
customer and service development. I provide the vision and logistical
management to transform organizational missions into reality.
I work with the associations to help them add strength to vendor and
membership programs. I help focus membership development through strong
educational programs from the entry to executive level. I build Touchpoint
and Champion programs that add value to membership.
Through my company I have worked with leading associations and corporations,
which include Intelsat, Washington Post, American College of Cardiology,
Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management, AFSM International,
US State Department, Department of the Army, National Urban League and the
US Holocaust Museum.
Before creating my company I held senior executive and management roles in
organizations in North America and the UK. I have traveled and worked
throughout EMEA, Asia Pacific and North America. I have been active in local
and state Chambers of Commerce for over 25 years. Working to build Small

I have had success due to a focus and energy. I have attended many executive
development courses at the Wharton School for Business in Philadelphia,
which has given me a very clear vision needed for leadership in public and
private sectors. I know how to gain the best from clients and staff. The
Washington Post considers I am a "Can Do Person". Leadership, Marketing,
Sales and Account Development are my talents, not just skills; I am a person
